Faye Francy has served as Executive Director of the Automotive Information Sharing and Analysis Center (Auto-ISAC) since 2016, leading the global automotive industry’s efforts to strengthen cybersecurity through trusted information sharing, operational collaboration, and the development of industry best practices that enhance the resilience of the automotive ecosystem.

Faye holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics from Towson University and a Master of Science in Forensic Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh. Her scientific background, combined with more than two decades of experience in cybersecurity and critical infrastructure protection, provides a unique perspective on securing today’s connected and software-defined vehicles.

She works closely with automotive manufacturers, suppliers, technology companies, government agencies, and academic researchers to improve cyber resilience, advance secure-by-design principles, and address emerging threats across the transportation ecosystem. Prior to joining Auto-ISAC, Faye helped establish the Aviation Information Sharing and Analysis Center (Aviation-ISAC) while at The Boeing Company.

Faye is recognized for bringing together industry, government, and academia to advance collaboration, trusted information sharing, and the cybersecurity of connected vehicles. She is passionate about translating cybersecurity research into operational practice, helping accelerate the adoption of innovative security approaches that strengthen the resilience of the global automotive ecosystem.

    Information sharing acts as a force multiplier in resilience planning by enabling organisations to identify emerging threats, learn from real-world incidents, and coordinate effective responses. In workshops run by Information Sharing & Analysis Centres (ISACs), participants exchange trusted intelligence, best practices, vulnerabilities, and lessons learned across sectors. This collaborative approach improves situational awareness, accelerates decision-making, reduces duplication of effort, and strengthens collective preparedness against cyber and physical risks. By fostering trusted relationships and timely communication, ISAC workshops help organisations anticipate disruptions, enhance incident response capabilities, and build a more resilient ecosystem where shared knowledge benefits all members and supports continuous improvement.
