    Eric Rummens is an Advisor on Critical Entities and Cybersecurity at Belgium’s Federal Public Service Mobility and Transport. He previously served for more than 12 years as a Maritime Security Officer within DG Shipping, developing extensive expertise in maritime security, transport and critical infrastructure resilience. His wider career includes roles in logistics, cargo inspection, transport coordination and education. Eric holds a Master of Science in Botany and Biotechnology from Ghent University.
