Critical Infrastructure Protection & Resilience Europe (CIPRE) concluded after 3 days of great discussions, presentations and networking for the CIPR community in the beautiful city of Prague.
A great opening keynote included:
- Ing. René Nedela, Deputy Chief Director of the Energy and Nuclear Resources Section of the Czech Republic
- LG Vladimir Vicek, General director of the Fire and Rescue System of the Czech Republic
- Dr Victor Vevera, General Director, National Institute for Research and Development, Informatics ICI Bucharest
This was followed by hot topic discussions on challenges the industry is facing, and how it can best collaborate to mitigate threats and challenges.
Hot topics included: Interdependencies and Cascading Effects across the CI Communities; Crisis Management, Coordination & Communication and Risk Mitigation and Management, as well as industry focused mini symposiums for closer sector discussions
