Harrison Efe Ogiemwanre
- Chief Executive Officer
- SEF, Nigeria
Comrade Harrison Efe Ogiemwanre is a distinguished Nigerian youth leader, entrepreneur, and peacebuilding advocate whose career bridges grassroots activism, enterprise, and community transformation. Known for his strategic vision and unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, he has emerged as one of Nigeria’s most compelling voices on student advocacy, civic engagement, and sustainable community development.
He rose to national prominence as National Secretary General of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), where he championed the rights and welfare of students across Nigeria’s tertiary institutions. His tenure was defined by principled advocacy on education funding, institutional accountability, and student representation — cementing a student movement built on unity, dialogue, and purposeful engagement with national policymakers.
Beyond activism, Comrade Ogiemwanre serves as Chief Executive Officer of SEF Apartments, a hospitality and real estate enterprise delivering quality, secure, and affordable accommodation solutions. Under his leadership, the company has established a strong reputation for professionalism and service excellence, contributing meaningfully to the growth of Nigeria’s housing and hospitality sector.
Driven by a deep commitment to social cohesion and generational impact, he founded the SEF Foundation, a nonprofit institution dedicated to youth development and peacebuilding. Through the Foundation, he has designed and led initiatives spanning:
Leadership and civic education for young people
Skills acquisition, entrepreneurship training, and mentorship
Peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and community dialogue
Scholarships and advocacy for vulnerable and underserved youth
His work has positioned him as an infrastructure builder, human capacity developer, and resilience architect — mobilizing young people not only to develop their communities but to safeguard public infrastructure and civic assets as shared national investments.
Comrade Ogiemwanre is based between the United Kingdom and Nigeria, maintaining strong professional and community roots in both countries. This transcontinental lifestyle has shaped his approach to development — enabling him to draw on international best practices in governance, enterprise, and civic organization, and adapt them thoughtfully to Nigeria’s local realities. He represents a growing class of diaspora-engaged leaders who translate global exposure into tangible, on-the-ground impact at home.
Comrade Ogiemwanre brings to any stage a rare synthesis of lived activism, entrepreneurial insight, international exposure, and grounded peacebuilding practice — offering audiences not theory, but field-tested perspectives on mobilizing youth for national development, resilience, and lasting peace.
