David Nieto is Vice President for Member Success at the Aviation Information Sharing and Analysis Center (A-ISAC), the global aviation cybersecurity intelligence community. He leads global member engagement and strategic partnerships to strengthen cyber resilience across airlines, airports, air navigation service providers, manufacturers, and other aviation stakeholders.
With more than 15 years of executive leadership experience, David previously served as Vice President for Europe, Middle East and Africa at A-ISAC and was a member of the Management Board of the Spanish Civil Aviation Authority (AESA) for 12 years. He has led aviation safety, security, and cybersecurity oversight, including the certification of airports and air navigation service providers, airspace management, and the development of Spain’s civil aviation cybersecurity framework.
David has represented Spain in international forums with the European Commission, EASA, ICAO, and ECAC and has extensive experience in crisis management, regulatory oversight, and strategic transformation. An advocate for cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and collaborative resilience, he works to advance information sharing and cyber preparedness throughout the global aviation sector.
David is an Aeronautical Engineer with master’s degrees in Cybersecurity and in Leadership and Public Administration.

Cyber Resilience Without Borders: Lessons from the ISAC Community in Collective Defense
Cyber resilience depends on trusted collaboration that transcends organizational, sector, and national boundaries. Information Sharing and Analysis Centers (ISACs) have become a cornerstone of collective defense by enabling members to exchange timely threat intelligence, operational experiences, vulnerabilities, mitigation strategies, and lessons learned within trusted communities.
This interactive session brings together leaders from multiple sector-specific ISACs—including automotive, aviation, financial services, healthcare, and space—to explore how trusted information sharing strengthens resilience across Europe’s critical infrastructure. Participants will gain insight into the origins and evolution of the global ISAC model, the role of the European Council of ISACs in fostering cross-sector collaboration, and the current cyber threat landscape impacting European critical infrastructure.The session will conclude with a discussion on the essential partnerships between ISACs and public-sector organizations, including ENISA and the European Commission, highlighting how industry and government work together to enhance situational awareness, improve coordinated response, and advance collective cyber defense across Europe.
