Julian Stafford supports TCCA in its work to enhance the capability of communications systems utilised by the first responder community (Police, Fire & Ambulance) across the globe. In Particular, the specific work required in regional and global spectrum allocation and 3GPP standardisation to facilitate the gradual transition from existing narrow band (TETRA, P25, DMR etc) systems to broadband IMT 2030 solutions. Julian has over thirty years of experience in mission critical communications development and deployment and in addition to his consultancy work with TCCA has held senior roles in Cable & Wireless, Iberdrola, WHP Telecoms & United Utilities working throughout the rail, utilities, finance and nuclear industries. Julian has made significant contributions to the design and development of new technology solutions now being employed in the CNI sectors in Germany, Netherlands, Ireland, Poland, USA, UK and Brazil.
