Mohammed Al-Ghamdi is an information security analyst working for public petroleum and natural gas company, Saudi Aramco, which is one of the largest companies in the world by revenue and has the world’s second-largest proven crude oil reserves. Mr. Al-Ghamdi holds a computer engineering degree and has a compound experience in industrial cybersecurity.

He participates in reviewing new vulnerabilities and developing controls for the rising business risks and supports Saudi Aramco cybersecurity governance and compliance. Moreover, he provides the needed support and consultation to implement and manage Saudi Aramco Data Protection Program (DPP) which includes, ensuring data backup and retention, planning for business continuity, enforcing physical security, ensuring third party security, ensuring secure software management, planning data protection reviews, conducting cybersecurity corrective and preventive actions and finally reporting data protection performance.
