
Ivana Cesarec

Ivana Cesarec works for Ministry of Interior, Civil Protection Directorate as Head of Critical Infrastructure and Cultural Heritage Department within Sector for Disaster Risk Reduction. She is also a member of Critical Entities Resilience Group – a European Commission expert group and member of The Council of the European Union’s Working Party on Civil Protection – CER. At the University of Applied Sciences Velika Gorica she is lecturer in two CIP thematic courses. Since 2013 to 2018 she was an employee of the Department for Prevention, Planning and Analytics within the National Protection and Rescue Directorate of Republic of Croatia. She has educational background in crisis management and holds master’s degree in international relations and diplomacy. Ivana is an author and co-author of book and several scientific and professional papers related to CIP.
