Eugen-Liviu Militaru has been in the Security Unit of eu-LISA working since October 2013. As from 2017, he is the head of Protective Security and Continuity Sector, which is the entity responsible for planning, preparing, implementing, monitoring and improving the main specific controls for the ensuring having in place the organisational Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS) and the crisis management capabilities. Before joining eu-LISA, Mr Militaru was a police officer for more than 8 years in the Romanian Ministry of Internal Affairs, working in the information security area, where he fulfilled for almost 5 years and half the role of the Head of Security Office, under the direct coordination of the general director/secretary of state.
