Daniel Kroos




Daniel Kroos serves since 2015 as Senior Programme Officer for Energy Security at the Office of the Co-ordinator of Economic and Environmental Affairs (OCEEA) at the OSCE Secretariat in Vienna, where he is implementing projects and providing policy advice on a wide range of energy topics.

Daniel holds Masters Degrees in Law, Business and International Relations from Washington DC and Berlin. Before joining the OSCE, he served as Vice President for BTO AG in Berlin, a strategy advisory firm, managing major projects in European oil & gas mergers & acquisitions.

From 2008-2010 he served as Deputy Director / Senior Economist of the German Chamber of Commerce in Baku, Azerbaijan. Previously he served as Energy Analyst for the German Policy Planning Council of the German Federal Ministry in Berlin and British Petroleum in Baku.
