Chiara Foglietta received the Master degree (cum laude) in Automation and Management Engineering and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Automation from University “Roma Tre”, Italy, in 2009 and 2013, respectively.
She is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at Engineering Dept., University “Roma Tre”. She teaches “Control Systems Engineering” at University “Roma Tre” and “Industrial Control Systems” at University of Cassino and Southern Lazio.

Her research interests are in the field of control of smart power systems, hierarchical state estimators for smart grids, and information fusion algorithms, especially Evidence Theory. She has been also involved in several EU projects, such as MICIE, CockpitCI, URANIUM and H2020 ATENA.
